VENETIAN WINE CAKE
Gold invented this beloved cake and marketed it for years. First made by Voila Bakery and later by the (Zen Buddhist) Greyston Bakery, it was sold at Balduccis, Dean & DeLuca and other gourmet food stores. It is memorable for its ingredients and alluring flavors: red wine, olive oil, lemon & rosemary. The iconic label was created by Seymour Chwast.
